hey rust belt...

You guys are all just jealous! :haha: I like that 2WD's stock paint job (was that one a '76?), I wish mine was white in the middle like that, it looks really good. I have a couple small chips and scratches in the center section of my K5 on the passenger door...hmmm...
I bet you`d like the white in the middle, wouldn`t ya:p:

What do you mean Craig I would take it up the ear for that. I could be called Craig JR. Man I got wood on that sight. :doah:

Bleh Im afraid if I had one that was in realy nice condition no rust no damage, you know a realy clean original truck. I would end up getting weird like that one guy on here with the green one. shave my head never drive the thing just shine it and take pictures. Rub my unit on it every once in a while. Who wants to act all weird like that?

Whats up with the 1 little light on top of the cab?

the light? the light is somewhat usefull, the question is what is up wiht the god awefull ugly mirrors! I took the light off btw.

I know a bit about disels but I am not a walking bible on them, my frined aaron has a d-max chevy and a 6.2 blazer and know just about damn near everything though, he has a rust free one he is wanting to sell:D

Was the 71 a 1 ton? I read recently many 1 tons of that era got that spot light as a factory feature.

Mmmmm...diesel K5. Keep me in mind if/when he sells it. The wife wouldn't mind a smaller payment when we move south.

That 71 would of been a great everyway work truck as soon as a rattlecan paintjob was added.

and say what you want about those mirrors...those are perfect rails for mounting the big semi style mirrors. Nice for trailer towing...ugly for everything else...but nice for trailer towing.

I cant remember if it was a 1 ton or 3/4 ton, I bought it from ricks pick ups trucks while getting parts for my other 71 project chop top. My ranger was stolen and I needed some wheels. I ended up getting my 99 3/4 ton burb a day later though:doah:So I kep it as a back up driver and only used it for a few dumster runs and to do burn outs behind the home depot:D

the mirrors may have been usefull, but still ugly!

You west coast boys...all you care about is style...

hahahaha

Here's what $2000-$2500 range gets you in these here parts most of the time...:p:
