You might as well figure your shipping and double it! Its almost impossible to get even the smallest item shipped for less than $15.00!! It just cost me $11.13 to ship a set of warn lockouts thru the mail! You better figure its going to high ant let you buyer know this and have them check prices themself. On the other have I bought a NV4500 trans and had it shipped truck freight and it was way cheaper than I thought, at only $125.00 I figured it would be at least $200.00 to ship that trans.

Shipping

Hello, are you using USPS flate rate boxes on the smaller stuff?

Dang that sucks, should of went with that flat rate. I appreciate them though! Yeah USPS has gone crazy with pricing. Sometimes its actual cheaper to just ups or fed ex it. Its no wonder why, my friends a USPS 'manager' or whatever they call it with 20 years and hes driving around a Mercedes :dunno:. Don't worry though, they are trying to cut the military's pension and health care benefits right now to makeup the difference.

What exactly is your point here? Do your homework with USPS, Fedex, and UPS and you'll be covered every time.

My point is that even after doing your homework its still cost more than you think! Ever ship something UPS ground, figure your weight and deminisions then get a bill 2 week later from UPS telling you that the weight was off by 8 lbs! How do you argue that without the package anymore?? USPS, not everything fits in a flatrate box. I DID do my homework and quoted shipping charges and went to ship and it was double, thats my point!

90% of the time I weigh my stuff, print my own labels, never had an issue with getting a bill from USPS.

I've never had any issues with any of them price wise, I always pay for it right then and there when I drop it off to ship too.

USPS has a bunch of different flat rate boxes and obviously the larger the box gets the more it cost to ship. I also always pay for shipping at the time I ship so there are no hidden surprises later.

flat rate boxes ftw!!! to ship out a shackle flip it woulda cost me $45 in my own box, flat rate box, $14.95!! w00t!!!
