Hey, I checked out the "How It Works" tab on their site.

Looks like you get counts by how many times people from this site (K5) hit a special URL link to their site (top4x4sites). It does measure how active this site is - it just measures how many jumps from this site to the 4x4 site.

Seems kind of cheesy. Guess it is just a way to build traffic to their site.

I assume Steve must have the "Special Link" that makes a vote count.
