Hey, what's inside the side panels on a Burb?

I have an '88, and I'm wondering how much dead space is inside the rear side panels.

I do have the speakers (towards the front) and the spare on the driver's side. Before I crack them open....what do I have?

Another side panel. It's all steel.

Exactly. Another layer of steel.

And when mounted properly, make pretty good enclosures for 6x9's in the stock 4x10 speaker location.

I took the panels off my k5 and made some fold down metal gun compartments. Works ok. Not super accessible but it works.
