a blazer tub. I need to get the body of the frame and I don't have an option of using a crane or pulley setup. If you have manhandled it how many guys did it take. Suggestions are welcome though. maybe there is something that I might beable to use.

About six guys, beer and food feast once it was completed. Unbolted the front clip w/ hood off and removed it...then unbolted rest of body bolts and misc stuff (electrical, clutch, steering, etc). Removed the body, then rolled the trailer with the new body up close to the rear, at the gas tank.

Good luck.

I did it by myself.... Not recommended...

Did it with two people. Couple of 4x4's, bunch of free pallets, floor jack, got it done. Wasn't pretty, but taking your time, it's possible.

I used dyeager535's method. It worked but we should've put it up a little higher as a 4 inch lift got installed while the chassis was out!

I literally have everything from the inside unbolted. interior, dash, seats steering colum, the whole nine. the only this that will be left are the doors and tailgate for structural pupores while moving it. what do you think it might wiegh like this. the cap with be off as well. I also need to move it a body's width to the left will six average guys be able to that?

I just took one off this past Saturday with a Ford tractor/forklift. Easy because I didn't give a crap about the tub.

Six guys (with 3 beers each in them) can do it comfortably (that's what I've been involved in). That's what I would recommend. No strain on anyone that way.

if you dpnt plan on saving the tub, I just chopped mine up in a couple pieces and gave it to the scrapers

A metric ****ton. Two of us managed to roll my firewall/windshield/floor (the rest of it had already been cut off) onto the garage floor beside the truck, but that was a definite struggle. I'd say 6+ beefy guys.
