Hi-Lifts are great for a lot of things, but winching, even with a 60" one would be cumbersome. Get a quality come-along for that. Look for one with two ratcheting wheels and a cast body. The truth is, a come-along or even a winch can mess you up just as fast a Hi-Lift.
