Looking for a HID kit for my K5 that is affordable yet decent. Tired of not being able to see at night worth a darn on the back roads and tired of people blinding me by not cutting the brights off (I wanna give them the reason to now). So curious anyone here have HID's and luck with them? What brand and results etc you can post up on them please.

selling mine

I've tried all the ebay kits you can name.. they all will fail..
GO with ddm tuning 55w slim kits, they are the brightest and most reliable.
I make custom retrofit projector housings for my k5's and friends, I only do the 4x6 size,
I tried all the 4x6 housings and you will glare everyone, and will still receive everyone's highbeam, you will have alot more light, but half of it will not be useable.
my link is up now, I am selling a pair that I had on my k5, i since put some higher end projectors on it.

Very nice there! more info on it? That the TNA winch bumper? Looks like you just cut out factory metal for light bar?

Sidetracked light bar. TNA winch cradle redesigned for a Warn integral winch. (Won at Blazer Bash) Custom bumper wings. Bar is on the high beam switch running on a relay.

I built the wings. The light bar just used the Sidetrack mounts bolted to the wing bracket. The filler piece is 22 gauge galvanized steel custom bent and welded to look like it should be there. It hides the bolts for the bar as a theft deterent. I went to the trouble of adding the original trim piece also.

Actually like you setup there is functional and look good! Anymore pics to this front end or building of it?

I did the H4 replacement bulbs from LMC. They give off a whiter light and are definitely brighter. I then also did the headlight harness relay mod to get a direct 12V to the headlights. Now With my high beems on Its like daylight in front of my truck
