I've wrapped em in cardboard on the ends and taped em up. Slapped a UPS label on it like that.

I'm on it amigo, I went shopping for shipping tubes today and finally came up with a solution: 6" concrete mold tube. None of my local stores have them though (they had tons of 8", 10" and 12" ones though!), so I have order one and do the free pick up in store thing at Lowes. I'll have a quote for ya this week, promise! 
PVC or ABS pipe works too
I'm also interested if for some reason the deal falls thru and its still available
