(I posted this on Thirdgen too, for those of you who haunt both places.)

I have this thing where if I hit the low RPM/low MAP cells while driving the BLM values come out sort of reasonable (in line with nearby cells), but if I stop and put the trans in park, they just go up up up. My most recent tune run showed BLM's around 130-135 while driving and as high as 167 while idling in park. I'm attaching a pic of my logged table from TunerPro. Look at the upper left of the table and you'll see these anomalous values up over 150. Using these is give me strange bumpiness in the VE table as I tune.

It's really disturbing really. I pull in and park and if I leave the engine running I can just watching the running average keep going up like it's never going to stop.

Any ideas what might cause this?

I'd do three things.
1. Change the BLM minimum and maximum numbers.
2. Correct the VE cells that are showing a high BLM average.
3. Datalog again, to check to make sure the changes made worked.

The problem is that the VE table is ending up with big spikes in the idle cells compared to those around. I don't think it' supposed to be that way. I'm either going to have high BLM at idle, or low BLM when I cross through those same cells while driving.

Oh, that's an easy fix. Just upgrade to '427 PCM, and you can tune near idle / off idle tables seprate.
