Has anyone used this stuff or similar? This is an epoxy hybrid primer. I had planned to just use an epoxy. Supposedly this can go on bare metal, seals and can be sanded and then I can spray my base over it. Just looking for good protection and decent look.

I'm also in the mood. My buddy has me in limbo on the cage project (not complaining) so I may start sanding on for paint. Where are you getting paint from? I may order from thecoatingstore.com as they offer all inclusive no brainer kits with paint, clear and additives which is good for me since I don't know squat about painting.

Local place. English Color.

I’m gonna be getting some commercial grade paint from them and I’m thinking I’ll get the Eastwood epoxy primer. Says it can be sanded and base sprayed over. Not looking to do a ton of filling and sanding so that seems like the way to go for me.

The only reason I’ve used a lot of Eastwood stuff is bc they have a ton of info on their products and that make it easier for someone like me with no painting experience. I’ve been satisfied with everything I’ve bought from them as well.
