Out of the blue my 89 blazer 5.7 tbi started ideling high even after it warms up.
Maybe about 1500 rpm above normal just enough to be annoying. Anyone have an idea why?

Take a close look at your vacuum lines. If it happened out of the blue, there's a real good chance something came apart somewhere.
 
Could be a bad idle air control valve, coolant temp sensor, vaccum leak or any number of other things
 
Round cylinder on the front pass side of the throttle body, has 4 wires through a square connector
