First of all, I have to admit I am not a huge fan of high lift jacks. I owned one for years, and it always did me a good job.
But, I took pretty good care of it, and cleaned and oiled it from time to time. Most of my friends had one, and I have suffered more damage and pain from them than anyother single thing I can remember.
Either the handle would clock me under the chin, I would have to pull the jack pins out with a pair of pliers, or it fell over.
In any of four directions.
Even so, it was very useful, just usually a pain to use.
The video below, is so boring I think I actually slipped into a mild coma once. Its tells how to move a shed, and somehow makes it so dull...........
But a few minutes in, he shows what I am pretty sure is a high lift jack mounted in a kind of "A" frame.
I'm not real impressed with the build quality of it, and I could see where it would be in the way for a lot of uses, but I think it has potential.
Maybe modify it so that it is stronger, especially on the bottom, make it where it can be removed an put back on quickly, and it might be quite useful.
You might make it part of a mounting frame. Fix it so it could be locked to the truck, and the jack mounted on it.
Then just the jack could be removed, or both if its needed.
Just a thought.

, along with my eye socket and shoulder playing baseball, and let me tell you that that is some real deal, no bs pain. The only thing so far that has hurt worse, was broken ribs, and breaking my femur and shoving the broken end into my knee holding rubber bands while trying to stand up.
