so where do you store it, anyone got theirs mounted inside the cab? if so where. seems like its gettin in the way just laying in the back...

I have a smitty built roll bar and bungie corded mine to the topside of the down bar on the driver side.

thats the only way I was able to think of...to bad I dont have a roll bar though...lol wish I did though

i mounted mine inside the cab on the pasenger side wheel-well. it was easy and it keeps the jack out of my way. i just took a 4" long 1"wide piece of 1/8" metal put it in the vice got a cresent wrinch and bent a 90 in it. drilled 2 holes on the botom and one on the top. then drilled 2 holes in my wheel-well and bolted the mount to it. then found a bolt that would fit throuh the hole on the jack and bolted the jack to the mount. (it was easyer than it sounds)

My interior is all bed-lined without carpet or panels along the bed sides. I hung mine upside down from underneath the passenger side bed rail. It tucks it out of the way.

mine is mounted to the front legs of my rear seat along the floor. I welded bolts to the leg so they go through the holes on the jack and hold it with wing nuts.

My 83 is cageless . I have mine mounted with simple brackets to the bolts for the hardtop . The base touches the side panel tightly .

No problems yet :D

Very simple. I have a 60" hi-lift and I mounted it to the wheel well. Just drill two holes in the wheel well, get 2 long bolts to stick up from underneath. Stick them through the holes in the wheel well, then through two holes in the hi-lift, then just use wingnuts to secure it. Takes no more than 5 minutes to complete and can probably be done with stuff in your garage. Works great for me....keeps the hi-lift out of the way and it doesnt rattle if you tighten the wing nuts down a good bit.

I have my 50" (I thought 50" was sufficient...shoulda gotten 60" instead) bolted inside the cab vertically along the drivers side bedrail (where the top meets the bed) using the quicklock kit (cant remember exactly what its called) .... the foot of the HiLift is behind the drivers seat.... pretty good spot which leaves more room for other stuff. I don't hear any rattles when i pound the trails. Wish I had a camera so I can take pics to show you.....

That is a good idea! Does it interfere with the folding of the seat forward?

i bought one of these and mounted it inside my the back of my truck on the lip of the bed side, they are called loc racks if you can get them anywhere

I like stowing mine inside the truck so it will function properly.

I've asked several people who've ridden in the back seat, and nobody really notices it there. It's the bigger jack, 60"(?).

nope it sure doesn't.... my rear seat doesn't have the armrests on them so they fold up and down perfectly :waytogo:

hey badass90k5.... did you drill the locking thing in the flimsy cardboard paniling or did you take that out and drill into the sheetmetel......

i dont have the cardboard paneling so i just drilled right through the lip of the rail.
