I've heard that the early for spring perches line up pretty conveniently with the GM trucks. There are compression travel issues with the pinion and the engine and crossmembers but overall it shouldn't be too bad. That's basically the best of what fords came with, we might as well make it really worth something by wrapping a GM around it........
