Or i should say crossover prob since my tierod is in stock location....Hey guys, on my stepside when its flexed out with the new alcans it bottoms out my tierod on my d60 arm. My arm doesnt have the ten degree angle on it, I have a few options.. 1 would be have my arm milled which the hole is still straight thru so would that help anyway.. 2 buy a new high steer arm.. 3 find if anyone makes high angle rod ends and buy one.

My setup uses the same rod ends as the factory push and pull, left hand and right hand both longer with 7/8 threads...

Help me out here, i didnt see much on this when i searched...helps appreciated.

I am using stock one ton drag link ends, i bought new moog tie rod ends for my stock draglink and they are threaded the 7/8 thread. I needed the extra length on the tie rod so it would work out. Im thining a new arm with the angle milled on it seems like a good idea. All steering parts are new except for the arm i have.

I would go with a new arm. Besides ORD there are plenty of other options. I had ORD's now I am running WFO reverse high steer.

Another question for you....would this work..?

Wth my axle forward now my draglink aims a little forward (looking from the driverside over)....

I would weld the old hole up, measure rearward an 1 inch to 1.5 inches that would make my draglink parallel again. Ill mill a ten degree angle or so to make the arm straight, drill and ream the hole on the same angle. That should take care of the whole problem, as long as it wouldnt effect my turning lock to lock.

That could work.
You don't risk losing lock-to lock steering, quite the opposite.
You'll need slightly more force to steer though, but thats probably not so noticeble.

Not that it matters that the draglink aims a little forward
But it would probably be easier to drill the new hole in a different location even if you weld up the old hole.

How long are your pitman arm and steering arm now?

The pitman is a skys off road arm, not sure on the length. I do tho have hydro assist with a 2.0 ram so i have the power to turn.
My draglink is bent for the 8inch lift, uses the ends from a stock draglink(shorter than most). I have lots of adjustment, which will be real good for my idea. So i could drill a new hole and mill the angle and then shorten my draglink to bring it all in.

what do you think..?

Yeah, I see no reason for it not to work.
Go ahead :waytogo:

Why buy new, when you can fix what you've already got:cool1:
