I have a set on 10 bolts layin around that I was going to put on something light like a Jeep, etc. I would probably need to do a high steer on them. My question is since the drivers side knuckle is already a flat top can I just get a flat top D44 knuckle for the passenger side? Are there any issues with calipers, etc running a corp 10 bolt on one side and a D44 on the other? Since I'm doing a high steer I wouldn't have to worry about TRE taper or anything like that in the stock locations.

spindle mount pad and bolt pattern is identical... so no worries there.
You do need to make sure that the balljoints are identical on both sides... or you end up carrying 4 extra instead of 2... but even then its not the end of the world.

yeah it will work, just use the 10 bolt hubs and the 44 knuckle. It all interchanges no problem. My friend has 74 44 pas knuckle and a 79 10 bolt outters and a random flat top drivers knuckle that who knows where it came from. It all works. btw, the big hub 44's are the ones ive always seen with flat top knuckles and they have the same bolt pattern for a 10 bolt spindle and such.

As long as you're doing high-steer, you're okay. If you're JUST gonna do crossover, the mismatch in knuckles might bite you in the butt for the top-down or bottom-up tierod attachment... but if you're doing highsteer, you'll attach the tierod to the arms on both sides, so you're fine, yeah.

Thanks for the info everyone. I thought it was a little different than most peoples approach but it sounds like it will work. Now to track down some parts. Thanks again.

I got my crossover steering from WFO and trevor had me send him my other knuckle and he put a taper in it from top down. That way I can run the tierod higher for more clearance.
As stated above knuckles out all matched up for me.
