Highest stall speed ?'s

Ok, I haven't thought about that, but can't you stop it by just applying some brakes?

The gearing and torque multiplication will push the vehicle through the brakes in most instances, kind of like laying down on a train track in order to stop the train:eek1:

~250 duration at .050 in a 355 isn't exactly a torque monster down low. I also currently have 42's and 4.10's.

Yeah if you don't put a stall in with that combo it's going to be a pig. 250 @ .050" in a 350...you probably want at least a good 10" converter, probably even loosened up some. 3000 - 3500. Make sure you get a quality one so you aren't slipping all the time when you are driving it normally at part throttle.

Just put a huge tranny cooler in it. Since I used to have AC, I flush out my AC condensor and use that as my tranny cooler. It's huge and works great. Just make sure it's plenty clean inside, and use good flared connections with quality hydraulic hose and double hose clamps minimum for reliability.
