Hight Idle,Engine Light when cold

My 87K5 350 TBI just started idling high when the motor is cold. It backfires a few times while idling and the check engine light is on. After about 15 minutes of driving, the check engine light goes off and the truck runs great. Seems to me like the air fuel ratio is off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

if you have a autozone close anough to you, take the truck to the autozone and have them put their scanner on it, that should show you the problem right away, in the scanner, trouble code wise, so you can put what ever sensor it needs on it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
