Highway Death Machine?

Goose, you Rock!

The light is on. I started a separate thread on the subject not knowing it was all the same problem. I'm going to rebuild those pesky back brakes. Will a Mity-Vac work to bleed the lines if I don't have someone to help pump the pedal? I think I'll take the afternoon off and get started today.

I've had good luck with the mity vac.
I get a little better brakes with a helper and using the old push, crack the bleeder, etc. method; but I hardly ever have any help anymore.

Hopefully you got this figured out, but I just wanted to add that when you have the front brakes out, take the little slider sleeves out of the calipers, clean them good and grease them. Also grease the "pin bolts" that hold the calipers to the knuckle. White Lithium works good for brake stuff. On two occasions I have had the brakes pulling to one side because these parts weren't sliding smoothly.

Thanks Blue85, I did get it done. I had no back brakes. Bench bleeding the MC, bleeding the snot out of all four lines, and giving the balancer a love tap with a hammer made things good.
