ball joint axle / wider axle from 80's / and he is a huge dana 60 seller .

I'm under the impression that the spring pad spacing was way to wide to use on our trucks..

correct and i think the axle is a little wider.

Doesn't that also make it so you can't move the pads inward enough? Been a while, but last time I read about it there isn't enough tube on the short side... can't remember though

On a sorta off topic note, is the spring space on those the same as the leaf sprung ttb D50's under the F250's of the same era?

those axles are funny in a few ways.

and if you have a dana 50 ttb front and score a dana 60 solid from same era its a basic swap over yes.

what years should I be looking for that will fit in an 88 k5?

77.5 -79 only bolt in basicly. from what i hear/read.

and those run around 900-1200 on evilbay.
