Histeer clearance problems

My hi steer tie rod is hitting the ubolt when turning left and its drastically reducing my turning radius. I decided to try switching the spot the tie rod was in with the drag link and moving the tie rod to the forward hole on the hi steer arm. Now it clears good because the drag link goes up and over it but I've lost most of my steering power by doing this. It's almost like armstrong steering when not rolling. Has anyone else ever encountered this problem?

Mine was hitting a u-bolt on the pass side when turning right. I "fixed" mine by; A) swapping the tall u-bolt nut for a shorter stover (pinch) type lock nut, B) taking a grinder and trimming down the top of one hex corner on the nut and C) grinding a 1.5" long approx 1/8" deep flat onto the tie rod. In the end, it still touches but just barely at the end of the stroke - not ideal but it works.

I tried that also and it wasn't enough. I ended up cutting , lengthening, and sleeving my entire tierod so that it was long enough to go in the lower factory location. I also had to notch out my DIY4X razorback diff cover for the tie rod but now I have full steering range in both directions and turns them easily standing still
