Hit & Run?

The story is my 1983 K5 took a hit by a Toyota whatever it was and the vehicle ran away leaving my truck in ruin
Rear End bent
Rear driver rim bent
Quarter panel bent out of shape back tailgate cannot open
Rear bumper bent up
Rear leafspring shoved forward also bent
Possible Valve train damage
I am in total disgust how can someone just hit me and take off and let me find them later can’t believe it was a kid that hit me and then because she was scared she ran away not knowing that she left a water trail right up to her house cops involved and she was arrested But now I have to wait insurance has to come down and look at this mess I’m surprise this truck still runs and but now I have to wait insurance has to come down and look at this mess I’m surprise this truck still runs and it can still move

Her insurance will total it for sure. Was a nice looking truck.

Mine got totalled for a bent front axle. Arm yourself with comparable rigs that have sold on Ebay or somewhere that you can show value. They will try and get out as cheap as possible.

Any insight as to whether she was drunk or texting? Totally inexcusable. Looks like its not a narrow road so absolutely no reason to hit you unless intoxicated or distracted.
