anyone know of any problems? i looked under there the other day and it doesn't look like my hitch will bolt up without modifying it. tia

Yeah, I don't see how a normal hitch would work with a flip. It bolts where the factory bracket was. :dunno:

I had to notch part of the flip bracket to clear my hitch. I'm running the ORD flip.

yeah, im running the ord one. ill go back under the truck when i can to look at it again. see where i need to notch it out

I used a plasma cutter and trimmed both sides of the hitch. Here you go.
I also used POR15 on most of the frame.

sweet thanks for th pics. now i think i might have the wrong hitch, lol. my buddy gave it to me and said it was from his blazer but i don't think it was from the looks of that. the mounts are further apart.

I had to modify my hitch as well. Im running the ord shackle flip. Here's some pics of what I did to the hitch so i could bolt it back in.

Im running a DIY4X and had to remove my hitch, although I wasnt running a standard receiver hitch, I had a DMI Spring Cusioned Ag Hitch Similar to this.

Mine was an older design on some of the brackets tied into the frame near where the front of the bracket bolts up. in fact my frame was bent inpart due to added stress from the towing it did.
