HMMWV wheels and 2" spacers installed (PICS)

The spacers are made out of 6061, and I got them from Offroad Overstock in the vendors section.

I am transferring to Pascagoula MS (NAVY) for a year to year and a half.

Exactly what I used to figure out how many I needed. I used the same airsoft pellets from Wal-Mart I had my local shop break the bead, I poured them in and they resealed the tire. It is like night and day driving now. I was amazed how much better it rides with them in.

What did you use to the cut down the run flats?

Sawzall with a long Lennox bi-metal blade. Then I touched it up with a 60 grit flap disk on the grinder.

The magsesium cuts easier than you would think. It was pretty fast even doing it alone. If you had a porta-ban or and band saw it would only take a few minutes. Grinding was easy too.

And the only piece that caught on fire was the piece I set on fire with the MAP torch.
Be carefull....

Drove about 200 miles at 75 MPH yesterday with no problems at all...

Got anymore pics, like from the side. Does the hub stick out?

The hub is about 1" inside of the sidewall of the tire. I don't have any more pics but I will get more when I install the rear spacers in the next few days.
