holiday weekend trip to Big Bear, CA

welcome to the club.didnt know it snowed that much in big bear last week. last time i was wheeling up there was about 2 yrs ago. there are some really fun trails behind the lake. almost got stuck in 3ft of powder last time i went.
where in santa ana are you from? i used to live near 1st/grand. still work there. nice truck BTW.

yeah i remember that most snow they had a in a long time i dident have this truck then so i think i really missed out on some good fun, but i had a 86 F-150 4x4 bone stock though with open diffs. i dident get stuck but me and a 4 runner came up on this guy who popped his bead the day before and had been up there all night with no tools or jack, we installed his spare and followed him out.

born and raised in Kent, WA. lived in Seal Beach for about 2 1/2 years when i was in the Navy at naval weapons station then to texas for 2 years got out of the service 2 years ago and i moved back to CA, cloest main roads to me are Fairview and Edigner.

thats cool, i live in cypress now, not far from seal beach. how do you like the automotive program at SAC? do they let you work on your own stuff?

i like the program at SAC, i wish they had more instructors and more space. in some cases we have 3 classes fighting over the 8 lifts in the shop which can get pretty nasty sometimes. and they need moere classes offered i am in my third semester now and i will just now be finishing my first certificate in brakes and front end service 4 more certs to go not counting my ASE and smog certs i have at least 2 more years before im all done then another 1-2 years of night classes to finish my AA degree while im working. the instructors defienttly know what they are talking about and are willing to help. as a rule we start a new unit of instruction we can bring in our own cars and fix the things that are relevent to that particular unit once we have screwed up our own cars then employees of the collage and other students then can get thier car repaired for a VERY small fee usually $10 or less which helps the program matain equipment and get consumables.

BrandonC: sent you an email with my cell # call me anytime tomorrow after 1230 and well get that q-jet in shape
