Does any body know how to adjust a elec choke on a holley, I cant get this thing right, and holley provides no info on how to adjust. The truck keeps getting stuck in high idle, then it will be fine, then ill go to stop and the choke will close and try to stall it, Im really close to rippin it off and going multiport.
thanks in advance

Loosen the three screws and adjust the choke so that it will be open more. It will be marked lean/rich most likely...turn it towards where it says, "lean".

Make sure your power wire is hooked up correctly first, it should be an ignition hot wire. Then check that the linkage is free to move and not crammed with mud, spray it down with some silicone. after this, if the choke is totally screwed up, get it running anyway you can until it is semi warm. then turn it off and leave ignition on so choke stays open. loosen the 3 screws around the black electric coil cover and rotate it so that there is a slight pressure to hold it full open. while doing this make sure it is kicked down not on fast idle. after doing this you should be in the ball park, just make sure the choke fully closes when cold, and make small adjustments if further need after starting truck cold and allowing it to warm.
To adjust fast idle, just turn fast idle screw on linkage(near the regular idle screw). If you adjust it hot just make sure to manually engage the fast idle cam.
