anyone ever put this on there truck??? thinking about doing this rather than putting the TPI setup on...

if anyone has done this, how was it? pretty easy? also are you happy with it?

If you want to run an aftermarket EFI system I would get one that is fully programmable such as the Holley Commander 950, Accel units, Motec. etc.

I looked into the Projection and didn't like the fact that there is no timing control, which means there is also no capability for running ESC (knock sensor), and the closed loop kit is not included.

A factory TBI setup would probably be the most cost effective way to go, especially if you have to deal with emissions testing.

Projection used to be a decent add on but now it costs $1000 for the kit which is way high. I did TPI on my truck with spare fuel pump, ecm, & all sensors for $1200. TBI would have been cheaper then that.

For the money involved I would do junkyard TBI or check out Affordable Fuel Injections TBI setup before I would do Projection. The only way I would do Projection now is if you got the setup for a good price used.

Also like mentioned you have timing control with the TBI or TPI and all the parts are widely available in parts stores. Try finding a Holley ECM in a parts store. I can get an ECM for my TPI for under $200 in short order.
