Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between Holley's Pro-Jection Fuel Injection Systems ( P/N: 502-20S ) and Holley's Avenger EFI Throttle Body Fuel Injection Systems ( P/N: 550-200 ).

These are both the 2 barrel TBI kits.

Thanks in advance for the assist. :waytogo:

I think the newer stuff is the Avenger system. I did'nt think the Pro-jection was still around:dunno: If I had loose money around I would be sending it to FAST for thier injection kit. Neighbor kid bought it for older muscle car and it's a nice setup.

but get your own hoses made
a lot of people have been fine with the stuff included in the kit, except me :dunno: Getting some hoses professionally made was easy with a shop nearby, also super cheap considering what I'm getting. I just ran hose the whole way.

That's what I thought....that the projection was an older system.

Thanks again.

But you missed this more important post! Whatever conversion you do remember how much more pressure and flow there is and how highly flammable fuel is!

Some guys use regular carb fuel line as it's rated to 90 PSI burst and the system only runs 13 PSI right? Until the return gets blocked or regulator goes bad the pump will blow this line! Also EFI hose is made with such better material I have seen some 10 years later look great, no cracks or deterioration, where cheap carb hose has cracks near clamps after 6 months... :dunno:

I don't know why you haven't considered a GM system? So many available parts at all stores still and so many aftermarket systems are for sale for parts because replacements parts are not available...
