Hollister blazer bash pics

I didn't get a ton of pics, but a few of me. Weather was miserable if i didn't have ice water to dunk my shirt and hat in every 5 minutes i wouldnt have nade it haha. Met a lot of cool people, but I was a victim of the damn pig this year. It got into our dry food bin and ate like 3 bags of chips a bag of tortillas some cayenne pepper and creole seasoning stabed a hole in the baked beans cans all of the hot dog and hamburger buns. I hope his asshole burned the next day from the pepper seasoning and jalepeno chips haha. Won a Tuffy security T-shirt at the raffle and about 50 stickers:D Anyway on to the pics.

Well I still have that miss at low RPM's when the motor is warm/hot so that was an issue starting out. It was kinda slow going over Pacheco pass into Hollister, but on I-5 was fine. I don't think the trailer brake controller works so stopping was a little scary. It got pretty hot, but I was pulling a lot of weight and it was faw(kin HOT outside so that was to be expected. No A/C was by far the biggest issue:mad: Had a great time wheelin though.:wink1:

I gotta get my butt out there one of these days. Looks like a nice place to start because you don't have to go crazy, shoot, I'd just go out and hang out then hit that little mud pit.

Looks like Ryan was there huh.

Nah that was the blazerfest swap meet. :wink1:

Yup good eye, dude.

Drove it out there, pulled the body off, and proceeded to beat on the blazer until i broke the two bolts off flush that screw into the D60 housing. :doah:
Then willyswanter and myself got to drill out the broken bolts and tap the holes.

These are all the pics i've found for now...

You seem to have issues with D60's don't you? ;)

I've seen some custom 14b front axle applications before. Why don't you bust out the tools and try something else?

it seems like a somewhat easy task, just drill out two bolts, tap it, put some new ones in a wheel, but when it's 117 freaking degrees things don't seem to go so slow. We were sitting in camp waiting for you guys for like 3 hours before we decided to head out on our own...haha. Wish there was somethign I coulda sone to help but i wasn't really into putting my hand between that drill and your framerails :-P Especially when bozo disengaged the winch clutch and made the truck lurch while willys was under it!!! Yikes

Was Jason's Sammy ever on 4 wheels or the right side up?:haha:

looks like a blast. I wish I could have gone
