I am installing the Holley Sniper EFI on my 1972 Blazer and was wondering if any of you have installed this system on your Blazer. I am having trouble finding mounting locations for the coil and the Ignition box. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
You may consider the CDI on the inner fender as mentioned, the build a bracket to mount the coil off the intake like originally done with the points set upyes it is
If he has the ignition box, he probably has the square e-type looking coil that plugs right into it. For the life of me I can't find installed pictures of mine anywhere. You may consider the CDI on the inner fender as mentioned, the build a bracket to mount the coil off the intake like originally done with the points set up
Wasn’t sure, the other injection systems say not to use those coilsIf he has the ignition box, he probably has the square e-type looking coil that plugs right into it. For the life of me I can't find installed pictures of mine anywhere.

That’s what i did in my Chevelle too. I learned that when you run their drop in pump you might get fuel knock (like water knock in your house) and it makes the sniper think your fuel pressure is all over the board. I was getting nasty lean spikes. I installed a fuel pressure damper from Radium Engineering and it’s been working great. It took me a long time to figure it out so wanted to share the info!I know it says somewhere that you don’t need a return line, but for my 77 gmc, I’m going to install the in take pumps, that will increase the fuel pressure and cool down the fuel as well, to get the most performance possible. It’s a spendy and time consuming adventure but after extensive research this is the best result for fuel delivery.
I have the hyper spark distributor so I can control the timingThis is all optional right? You can just run the HEI and vacuum advance distributor with the sniper controlling fuel/air, no?
Edit: the only one I’ve got experience with is their Jeep 258 single barrel kit, on a friends, works great with no timing control.
