RIDICULOUS!!! Has anyone found a reasonable source for bucket seat foam or armrest foam? My covers are really decent, but on a big bump, I can feel the metal bracket at the bottom of the bucket hitting my lumbar..

Have you tried a local upholstery shop. There are so many seats out there and I know a guy here who.cuts his own.per application

i have a friend that runs a leather shop that caters to dealerships who order cars with cloth and want them upgraded... i will likely be having him do it, maybe recovering, after seeing what just the foam costs for the bottom of a bench.. ack

I looked a while ago and couldn't find anything reasonable. I ended up swapping some late model camaro seats in that I got super cheap at a junkyard but before I was going to do that, I did some reading on how to make seat foam.

The upholstry guys do it pretty easily by cutting layers in the appropriate shape, gluing them together and then smooting the surface with an air grinder. It didn't seem super difficult if that was the only option but I needed seat covers too so new seats were a much better deal.

I picked up this blazer with 2000's seats and much better than any other seat I've ever had in a blazer
