We have alot of rigs down here that are set up that way with there 2.5ton rockwells. Must be the thing to do. Its pretty bad ass.

My buddy built one with 12in front and rear blocks on 2.5tons. Just had to use trac bars front and rear because them axles will twist them leafsprings like an old slinky. Isnt the classiest way to do it but it works for his...

I donn; how much articulation and wrap will you see driving this thing up onto the trailer? :haha:

I doubt axle wrap is a problem because of the relationship between the springs and those control arms at the bottom. I never quite understand how some people create a mixture of good parts, good work and corner cutting.

I was told you can weld the block just like a raised spring perch. and in his defense he does have lower links.

not everyone wants coils and links, but if it is a block and it works, good for him.. i think its sketchy but its his truck

Would I do it....no. But considering there's not a stitch of dirt between the lugs of his swampers, I'm sure it serves his purposes.

I'm a 'it's your truck, do what you want' kind of guy, but I'd hate to know I shelled out that kind of loot for truck-schwag, but everyone who knows anything is laughing at the stilts under my springs.

im sure it suits his purpose, but dont drive it on public roads, or within 100' of anything of value.

think of what a sudden stop or evasive maneuvers would do to that setup.
