Any tips on making a cheap bikini top. What is a good way to attach it to the top of the windshield.

Don't know if it would work for you or not.

I made one out of some vinyl form a fabric store. I made a aluminum bracket that bolted to the holes where the hard top bolts. It was straight across so there was a gap in the front but the sun visors block most of it. I did have some straps on the back but they ripped out (I used cheep vinyl) so I just duct-taped it to the roll bar.

I'm going to try a sliding track at the windshield like they use for fishng boat enclosures. I'll let you know how it works

If you have a full cage get a piece of sailcloth cut and seamed. Then put small sized grommets about every 4" around the edge and lace it on like a canvas bunk. Laced in tight you should be good to go.
