Yeah I believe he said they go through to the mounts.

I drilled two holes then tapped them and threaded in some small all thread and put the nuts on. I did tack each stud too just in case:D I am gonna do 2 more holes for the bottom of the plate too.

Where is the licence plate light?

Haha I don't have one either:doah:

That is the mount, I just cut the front and back of the rec. tube where the bumper mounts are then sild the shackle mounts through and welded it up....if that makes any sense at all....

Gotcha, understood perfectly. Thats what the pic looked like. Good looking bumper, I've been looking to do something similar. Also, for your receiver hitch, is there room in the back to put in pin in to hook the hitch or whatever in?

Also did you make the reciever box yourself if not where did you get it?

Thanks
The receiver box needs to be 2" ID, which is hard to find. You can find the 2" receiver tubes at farm store type places like TSC, Rural King, and Bucheits. Places that sell trailers and camper trailers often have them also. I think there is a Rural King in Waterloo, Illinois, you may be able to call them. Ebay has some also, search for - 2" receiver tube.

i am sure there is becuse that is the way 4x4 iron use to do it i belive, the reason i did it the way i did is i wanted the bumper to be close to the body because i hated the way it looked with a big gap. I also did not want to have to get under the truck just to get the pin in or out or try or find the dame key hole.
