i Know that there are some snorkel kits out there that will work of a k5 but i am wondering if there are any homemade ideas for snorkles, pic will be nice to help me understand a bit, its kinda hard to picture to do it the right way. thanks guys

Do a search. I can remember a thread a while back where they had used the 4" rigid dryer vent - I think its the same diameter - if I remember correctly. Could have also been on Pirate.
