I used a canvas tarp and snap fasteners.
It cost about $75

thats what im wanting to do
but i want to use some kind of heavy duty fabric....boat covers or something and i want to be able to use the rear seats...roll up the sides...ect

i can do it myself, just wondering if anyone else can save me some design time

can you sew cause its gonng take a lot of that, as well you are gonna have to put in bars to support it. Personally I say just put in a full family cage out back and use that. Thats what I hope to eventually do.

I used a roll of self stick weather stripping along the roof and down to the bed rails and it does not leak.

Here is mine. I built a bar for support over the back seat. I can roll the back, sides, or both. Its all custom made. I took the truck with the bar installed to a local boat shop. They took the truck for two days and charged me 400.00. It doesnt leak, and doesnt flap. Its made from tonneau cover material. Oh ya, I used a old hardtop that I cut down for a frame. The frame bolts on the same as the hardtop, and it has the snaps in it not the body.
