Looks like a blast. Too bad the web sight for the guys that made it won't work.
That popped up about a year ago I think. Had me dreaming of tracks for a while. There use to be two videos that were a lot longer.
Man that thing looks like it has a pretty hairy engine in it. I wouldn't like the load transfer on take off though. It would be like driving a boat, only a tree could be in the way......
I wonder how you could fix that though?
Uhm, drive slower? Obviously he's going balls to the wall.
But that is no fun!
I mean something like an anti-roll bar, but longitudenally (sp?). I don't know.
that Really blew me away the first 20 times i saw it...
Especially 3 yrs ago....
427 cid if memory serves me right...
...sorry dudes... didnt realize it was a repost...i tried to search for it before hand...
yeah it was a supercharged 427 smallblock chevy ls1, I think I know what your talking about, maybe a gyro that would control weight transfer between the front and rear, but I am thinking the only thing that would control that would be some kind of suspension that can load up, or just lay off the throttle from a dead stop.
Wasn't really home made. They were trying to sell them as a business.
I would not call it a tank. There is not turret just a tracked vehicle
Try not to take it personally...
That is the "Ripsaw I" as was pointed out to me on another website. Here is the link for more video of it. I would love to drive that for a day.
