I have put some work (I am a cop) related pics on my site. I put these pics there as entertainment and as an educational tool. Let me know what you think. I did not put any blood/guts pictures on the site, but I want to know if you guys think it is bad taste to post accident pictures. Thanks.............................

Personally I don't think there's anything in bad taste posting those pic's. My honest opinion is you should add some captions though. Drunk? Speeding? Fell asleep? I think if a short caption says drunk for example it would do more to show consequences tangibly.

<font color="green"> So long as the pictures are presented in an educational manner (which they seem to be) I don't see any problem with it. We'll just keep the entertainment aspect between us chickens /forums/images/icons/wink.gif . I agree with Rene, a short explanation as to the cause of the accidents, if they have been determined, would be a nice addition.

i dont see anything wrong with them i do agree with rene though captions would help /forums/images/icons/smile.gif also i would look into wether or not you can legally put them up without consent(sp?) i dont see why not but just something i would look into /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

The reason I say "Entertainment" is because some people think that cops drive around and single out a specific race, vehicle, sex, car, etc.. to harrass.

This is obviously not true. As "Law Enforcement" we deal with all different kinds of situations from violent situations to down right hilarious situations. For example............

I get the call to go to this home to "speak to an elderly lady about some pornography she found." (That is how the call was dispatched to me.)

I get there and talk to this REALLY REALLY old lady. She is concerned about some porn that she found on her computer. As it turns out, she would check her e-mail and she would see the typical "You have won a bazillion dollars" spam e-mail.

She would open it to find..........you guessed it PORN.

Now, on the outside I am being a cool, caring cop. On the inside.....I am dying. I tried to explain "Spam" to this lady, but she did not understand. I was at a loss for a solution. (Trust me, I wanted to end this because it is pretty awkward to explain how BEASTIALITY.COM got this old ladies e-mail address.)

I finally told her not to open any e-mail from anyone who does not use a "code word" in the subject line. I personally called the 4 family members in her address book and explained the situation. All agreed to use the "code word" to avoid subjecting grannie to any more porn. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Thats a funny story, I could just imagine how awkward it must have been.
My dad was a cop in Colo. He would tell us all kinds of stories about things he did, alot of 'em were off-the-wall, not the typical "police-stories" a guy would think.

I think the pics are cool. Seeing it from the cops perspective is something the rest of us don't get a chance to do.

couldnt the person in the accident get mad and sue? I dont think is bad at all, but i am not an idiot that rolled my car and looking for someone to sue for too much money. BTW i am also dont know anything about law.

As a truck driver, I have seen many, many accidents. I think this type of material should be shown more often. I can't believe how many MORONS there are driving around!! I get so ticked somedays I want to ram somebody!! I won't, but I can dream!! I think you guys have a tough job and don't get the respect you deserve. I also think more PUNKS should have the Crap beaten out of them!!
