Honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Nemo Tunnel trip

You know I've got a keeper when she lets me tow my 77 K5 down to Gatlinburg for the honeymoon and cruise it all week. The truck has no doors and no roof, but she wanted to ride in it everywhere!!! She's a good one! We went to Nemo's tunnel, an old train tunnel built in the 1800's. It was so cool. Ended up stuck, and muddy. We got out and had a blast. Can't wait to do it again. Notice I tried real hard to keep the passenger side clean so she wouldn't get muddy!!! It was an exciting trip to get to the trail head. Blazer blew a tire, then we had to buy brand new 33's!!! Oh darn! They were the only 15 inch off road tire they had!!! Lucky me, not so lucky on the trip budget!

I almost went out to Nemo tunnel a few months back with a local first gen group. But then I deleted Facebook and haven’t had contact with anyone. I’d like to try going again sometime.

Wow, this post took a turn quickly!!! lol. Well mine has a bit of the yellow/orange/ochre left but most of it has rubbed off. Anyways, there will always be to much mud or something on it to see so it won't matter!
