Hood compatibility

Greetings all,

I've spent a little bit of time trying to find this information, but haven't had any luck...

I recently purchased a 1980 k20 and the hood is severely buckled in the middle. I was wondering what hoods will be compatible with this truck? I've seen a couple on Craigslist from k10s at a good price... Just don't know if they'll work.

Pretty sure any hood from '73-80 would work. They changed in '81.

and

81-87-91 is the ranges .

worn out hinges / stiff rusted up / and bad design hood sub structure all lead to bent 73-80 hoods in the middle. so look over the rest of the system before installing a good hood or you might just get another bent one real quick .

Awesome. Yeah, I'll be sure to give it a good look thru before swapping it out. Still don't know if I wanna keep the truck or not, but either way that hood has got to go!
