I recently purchase a 1985 Blazer. It's pretty solid but most of it was redone at some point. It has a 1988 rad support(emissions sticker)
The issue that I'm having is that I can't close the hoodall of the way. I have moved the latch to the top of It's adjustment. When I close it, the front edge of the hood is hitting on the rad support before it goes down far enough to completely close the latch. The bumpers are screwed all of the way in. When it is latched in the first stage of the lock mechanism. The hood sits higher than both fenders, and I cannot release the secondary latch without sticking my fingers through the grille and pulling on the hook.
Any ideas ?

Did you unscrew and lower the pin that goes in the lock?
I picture or 2 might help us see something you might have missed

Do you mean the striker on the hood ?
I will get some pics by tomorrow of it isn't solved by then.
