Hood is riding high when shut

This may just be a simple problem, but when I close my hood, there's a good 3/4" gap between it and the front of the truck. It stays latched, but vibrates/wobbles hard on the road from the wind. Also, when I go to release the hood, I have to pull the handle, get out and push the hood down, then pull again. How can this be adjusted or repaired?

I'll post pictures in a few hours.
Edit: oh, and it's an 89.

Your latch is adjustable along with the rubber bumpers on each side of the radiator support. easy fix.

There a couple bolts on the latch itself that is attached to rad support.
