hood pins

I just did this. I'll get pictures when I get the truck back(getting exhaust done) Are you switching to only pins or still using the springs and latch mechanism with them?

I may do this also. I'm sick and tired with having to hit the hood to get it to open

I'm curious too.. I got my hood latch working by installing a new cable, but the corners flap a bit in the wind, and the hood is adjusted good :doah:

Besides that, hood pins look bad ass :haha::haha:

I like the look of the autofab ones, but I have no idea how to mount them :dunno: Since I bounce down rough roads all the time, I don't like the idea of metal on metal.. and the autofabs use a poly bushing screwed to the hood.

Well i put mine because i did not meassure right and when mounting the oil coolers i put them too high and the hook on the hood hit a cooler so took it off and got the pins in

Got them on ebay a while back

Id say get them leashed so you dont loose the pins
