Hood springs

The other day I was driving and the hood popped up on my truck. Both springs came off and it won't stay up or close properly. What will it take to fix the closing issue and put the springs.

so put the springs back on ? are the pivot rivets loose worn out ? egged out ?

if not then you shoudl be fine

never heard of this happening and ive been around and owned ALOT of 73-80
