Hooker Headers 2463HKR lifespan ?

There were a few threads on fitment of these headers for the 454. Most were happy with the fit.

For those that have run the Hooker Competition Headers 2463HKR how long did they last ?

i ran them yr's ago with great luck, sold it before i saw their demise... that car is still running around, with I'm guessing those headers on it.....

i think a huge part of it is where you live and whether they see salt, etc...

they are thicker than any other "economy" header out there at 16g.. so that helps with tone, and durability..


those with some jethot would be a sweet set up..

I just picked up some 2453's for a small block. Got em off craigslist and they look like they had been used for a good while. Guy sprayed some high temp heat on em and they look just fine to me.

For the price I'd get the 2463's if I had a big block.
