hooking knock sensor back up

on my 89 my knock senson wire got tangled up last 4x4 trip and i just noticed it today as im getting it ready for the bush once again so i know that the sensor is new as the motor about 2 years or 14,000km so it should be good still im thinkin but the connector part on the wire is gone nd all i have is a skinny black wire thats suppost to plug into the knock sensor what can i do to fix this? thanks

dealer.....like Jim88k5 said....or if you have a really well stocked NAPA, then they will have it. I have seen them on e-bay too...(search for "TBI")

If you want cheap, go to the wrecking yard. Almost a universal knock sensor connector for GM's, and the fan switches oft times used the same connector.

I won't buy connectors from a dealer or parts store, more times than not the sensor is cheaper than the wiring pigtail.
