Horn contact?

Folks, I'm missing the horn contact from the cancelling cam to the horn button on my '87. From the LMC catalog there appears to be a spring loaded contact pin missing. Is that how it really works or is it just a wire? If it's the former I'll just order the $10 part fromLMC.

little spring on end of wire too, little contact button thingy on end of wire too, alot like the contact button in HEI cap, would be under cam

OK, I have the contact kit from LMC but can not figure out how to assemble it to save my life. Anyone out there have a diagram or picture?
