My horn randomly stopped working for about 2 weeks and now its working again. When it wasnt working id hear a clicking noise when I pressed the horn. I was going to throw a relay at it because I figured the wiring was straight but now im starting to think maybe the wiring is sperating in the column. Thoughts? Thanks guys.

The horns are grounded through the radiator core support. So if they are not bolted tight (good ground) they won't work. Check the wires that go to each of them. There are two horns, one wire each, but are both fed with a single wire. What you hear clicking is the relay, so that is getting power. Whether its sending power or a wire is shorting after that is up to you to find :D

well one of the plastic clips for the wire looming under the grill was cracked and I took the other one out and routed the wire better because I was considering driving with no grill to go for a in your rear view best move over look but I dismissed that idea and just left it.

I dont think the relay would cut in and out would it?

seems more like a ground issue to me im going to pop the hood and take a peek.

Clicking is your relay working, so I doubt that is the problem. I'd go with wiring/mounting before I went with the relay. Although it's at least pretty easy to get to, if you need to.
