i have a 350 with a Qjet carb, edelbrock intake, K&N, headers, dual exhaust, what else can i add on that will help to boost my horse power without sacrificing my mpg atleast, not much. i have seen some of these intakes, but i say a comparison test in off road magazine that put the k&N up with all the other bolt ons. i cant put in a bigger cam or anything internal because it will void the GM 36,000 mile warranty.
thanks

How about swapping for some lower gears? I don't know what gears you have now, but if you currently have 3.07s and go to 4.11s you'll feel a HUGE difference in power.

you need to put on more miles, so you can change the cam. that will give you the biggest--seat of the pants--difference.

get an ignition system. im running the jacobs omni magnum and notice a power increase as well as increased gas milage. i know alot of guys on this site have some stories about jacobs but i have been running it for 2 years 16000 miles and have not had a problem.

how much did you pay for the jacobs and what does it contain? distributor?

If you can't monkey with the cam, your next step, and only step, that will make a significant increase is gears. Lower (numerically higher) gears will hurt your freeway MPG, but typically won't make a bit of difference in town, maybe even a little increase.

Some Vortec heads would be a big step in the right direction too, but again, if that comes under warranty invalidation, then you can't do it.
