Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

Crazy man.....

I hate to blame manufactureres, but if an entire wheel blew apart......

Hope you come out of it as intact as possible

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

Man I hope everything goes good with your injuries.

I would take pics and call, mail or e-mail them to the company you got them from. Tell them what it did to you and ask what they will do for you.

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

Oh my god, I hope you'll be okay. I don't know what too tell you. Talk to a personal injury atty and see what he/she has to say. That's scarry.

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

Well looks like your the new CEO of trailready. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif I hope you can get well soon. That really sucks.

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

That is a terrible thing to have happen to you /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I'm not sure what you should do about it ?
I hope you have a full recovery
Best of luck to you

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

get a lawyer

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

goddamn man thats prolly quite possibly the scariest thing I have heard happen while workin on a truck!!! I'd say deffinently talk to an attorny if nothing else just for advice!!

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

Sorry to hear this happen.

For something this serious, I would conract an attorny before even approaching trail ready. This is more than trying to sue for money. Somebody followed the rules and got hurt. Trail ready would like to know (I hope) so they can find out what went wrong and remove that issue.

My hopes are for speedy recovery.

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

hope you do not mind but I cross posted this to Pirate. and my buddy crossed to IFSJA

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

I would be looking into a lawyer too . Who knows , maybe the employee who did your set wasn't a good employee or something . I wish you the best after this . I'm missing this Blazer Bash also , I absolutely hope to meet you there next year and that by then you are doing a hell of a lot better . I have heard stories about people having lost limbs when tires let go , glad that didn't happen to you .

Wish you a speedy recovery /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

Get an attorney.

Take LOTS of pics of your injuries and the wheel NOW.

Get all of your paperwork together (wheel receipts, hospital bills, etc).

Do NOT let the wheel (and/or pieces) or the tire out of YOUR possesion.

Don't mess with the beadlock bolts, not even to verify their torque.

Glad you survived. Good luck.

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

Like they said, get a lawyer, lots of pics, documantation and don't let anyone else touch that rim or tire!

Ditto that. And, do not under any circumstances mess with the other tires/rims. Leave everything intact. Hopefully you haven't had to move the rig at all. Then a good attorney will hire an expert to come out and inspect everything. Do not let an insurance inspector/adjuster touch anything at all. As said, shoot multiple pics of everything and hide them away. Make sure the date of the pics is on each photo if you can. If not, put a current newspaper headline page up next to the pic when you take it.

Do not take a penny from anyone until you are ready to settle. Do not sign anything until an attorney tells you to. Do not speak to TrailReady at all. Let your legal mouthpiece do the talking. Be very careful of what you say here and elsewhere.

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

deleted the Pirate thread, shouldn't have posted it, you just need to deal with it legally, shouldn't be a big net thing before that happens.

Re: Hospitalized due to trailready defect!!!

From what he posted that he now deleted I will put it like this. The rim welds failed and he is lucky to be alive.
